The city of Los Angeles offers multiple rebates for homeowners:
• LADWP:
-Free Water Efficient Devices— LADWP offers free water saving devices for your kitchen and bathroom.
-Smart Outdoor Watering— LADWP offers rebates if you are interested in water efficient landscaping devices, like weather based irrigation controllers and rotating nozzle sprinklers.
-The New L.A Yard— Make your lawn a sustainable landscape and get up to $15,000 back.
-Efficient Product Marketplace— If you are interested in installing smart products in your home that are energy efficient, you may be eligible for rebates.
-Stay Cool in the Pool— Get up to $1,000 back when you upgrade from a single-speed pool pump to a variable speed pump.
-Rebates for installing ENERGY STAR cool roof materials and ENERGY STAR windows: Get back up to $2 per square foot for the ENERGY STAR windows and 20-30 cents ($.20-$.30) per square foot for ENERGY STAR cool roof coating.
-Up to 26% tax credit for installing Solar Systems.
-Water Conserving Toilets— Get up to $100 per approved water efficient toilet.
-$100 rebate on efficient water heaters.
-Up to a $200 rebate on ENERGY STAR furnaces.
-Up to 15 cents ($.15) per square foot, for high efficiency insulation for attics and walls.
